1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, creating an account, or purchasing digital credit packs on SnapToSTL ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our" operating at snaptostl.com), you ("User" or "Customer") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using the Service immediately.
2.Description of Service
SnapToSTL provides a commercial software-as-a-service (SaaS) web application that utilizes artificial intelligence and client-side Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) algorithms to reconstruct single 2D photographs into watertight, 3D-printable solid meshes (such as .STL and multi-color .OBJ). The Service includes real-time 3D inspection, millimeter scaling, bed-mounting cuts, and persistent Cloudflare R2 storage for re-downloads.
3.Digital Credit Packs & Payment Terms
Prepaid Digital Utility: Generations on SnapToSTL are powered by prepaid digital credits. Each successful 3D generation task deducts exactly one (1) credit from your user balance at the time of task initiation.
Non-Expiring: Credits purchased through authorized Stripe Checkout sessions do not expire, provided your account remains active and in good standing.
Non-Transferable: Credits have no cash value outside of SnapToSTL, cannot be redeemed for fiat currency, and cannot be transferred between different user accounts.
Secure Payment Processing: All payment transactions are executed securely through Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and supported regional methods. Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) or local converted currencies as displayed during checkout. All applicable sales taxes or VAT are calculated and itemized during Stripe checkout.
4.Refund Policy & Generation Guarantee
Automatic Credit Refund on Server Error: If an AI generation task fails due to a server timeout, upstream cloud node error, or unrecoverable processing exception, our system automatically restores the deducted credit to your account balance immediately.
Satisfaction & Quality Review: If a generated 3D model contains unprintable defects, non-manifold geometry, or severe visual distortion directly caused by system error, contact our support team at support@snaptostl.com within seven (7) days with your Creation ID. We will gladly inspect the file and provide replacement credits.
Monetary Refunds for Unused Credit Packs: If you purchased a credit pack and have not consumed any of the purchased credits, you may request a full monetary refund to your original payment method within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Once credits from a pack have been consumed for completed 3D generations, the consumed portion is non-refundable due to real-time GPU cloud compute expenses.
5.Commercial Ownership & Intellectual Property
Full User Ownership: As between you and SnapToSTL, you retain 100% worldwide commercial ownership, copyright, and manufacturing rights over all 3D mesh files (.STL, .OBJ) produced from your uploaded images or prompts.
Commercial Exploitation: You are fully authorized to sell the exported digital files, sell physical 3D prints produced from the files, incorporate them into commercial products, games, or physical retail inventory without paying any royalties or attribution to SnapToSTL.
Your Uploads: You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for photos, artwork, and trademarks that you upload to the Service.
6.Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content
You agree strictly NOT to use the Service to upload, generate, distribute, or 3D print:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexually explicit content involving minors.
- Functioning firearms, lethal weapon components, explosive devices, or untraceable ghost-gun parts designed to bypass security detection.
- Infringing materials that violate third-party trademarks, copyrights, or publicity rights without authorization.
- Hate speech, defamatory imagery, or materials promoting illegal violence or terrorism.
- Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or bot attacks against the SnapToSTL API or infrastructure.
Violations will result in immediate account termination without refund and reporting to relevant legal authorities where required by law.
7.Physical 3D Printing Safety & Warranty Disclaimer
SnapToSTL provides digital geometry files. Users are solely responsible for slicing parameters, printer calibration, material selection (e.g. food-safe filaments, temperature limits), and physical structural integrity.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPTOSTL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR PHYSICAL 3D PRINTER DAMAGE, CLOGS, PRINT FAILURES, MATERIAL WASTE, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM 3D PRINTING ACTIVITIES.
